Breakfast

Mornings at our house are a bit crazy.
My eldest daughter has to be at school at 7:50. (Not sure who thought that was a good idea.)
I pile all three kids into the car--usually 7:40ish.
Needless to say breakfast is really difficult.
Lately, we've been doing this combo: nutella, almond butter, dave's killer bread--simply the best! I also put a some sliced banana on top.
YUM!

Sweet Evalin

I think her eyes are going to stay blue. I have three girls and not one of them has my brown eyes! Lilli's are a greenish, hazel color. Abbi's are blue, and now Evi follows with the same. Kind of crazy...

Here is a pic from Uncle Trev's camera. He was visiting this past week. The girls sure do love their uncle. We appreciate his willingness to babysit lots when he's around! Thanks Trevor!

Haircut!

I've been growing my hair for quite a few years now. I finally had it cut off...just wanted a change. It is definitely easier!

Celebrating Miss Abigail

In January Abbi turned 4 years old! I could type pages and pages about this little girl. Her personality consists of many different traits that seem to be a unique combination of Josh and I. The "laid back" mentality that she often allures represents Josh to a tee. We often will refer to her as our "hippie child". I can enter a room and find her dancing and singing in a very "free spirited manner" by herself. It is so funny! She also can be very feisty (that part is from me) and likes things to be a certain way---aka. her clothing style. We admire her creative spirit and have loved the last four years with her!

Evalin (4 Months)

It's hard to believe that Evi is already 4 1/2 months. She is growing up SO fast, which I should have expected. She most recently started sucking her thumb. Lilli and Abbi didn't suck their thumbs, so it's cute how all children have different traits. We love her so much!

New Year's in Bend...

After Christmas we headed over to Bend to spend New Year's with the Hackbarth family. The girls got to enjoy some sunshine and their new bikes!

This week Evalin, Daddy, and I have been having fun hanging out together. (the girls are visiting grandma and grandpa...) She is such a mellow baby--which has made transitioning that much easier...

Baby Evalin is here!!!

Evalin Ruth was born Friday, Oct 9th at 1:30 pm. She weighed 8 pounds, 3.5 ounces, and was 20.5 inches. She had a little bit of a rough beginning and spent 4 days in the NICU for having "pneumothorax" (small tear in her left lung causing an air pocket to form in her chest). Thankfully she recovered well and we took her home Weds afternoon. She is such a sweet baby. The girls are CLEARLY enamoured with her. While it can be stressful at times managing all three, it's also a joy seeing them so excited that she's arrived. I will post more pics soon...
