Grammie's Knitting...

My mom is such a great knitter! Here are two sweaters she has made the girls. Thanks Mom!

Trick or Treat

This was our one and only pic from Halloween. Abbi was all about the Cinderella costume, while Lilli had a bit of a melt down and felt like she needed to come up with her own princess costume. Either way, they both had a great time visiting neighbors for candy...although, Josh and I probably ate the majority of it. I guess things come full circle when you become a parent!

pumkin carving...

I was going through my camera trying to find a good photo for our Christmas card. I found these from our pumpkin carving this year. It's hard to believe that I'm posting these now and it's already December!

My girls...

Here are some pics of the girls. They are getting so big. It's hard to believe that Lilli turned four and Abbi will be 3 in January! Crazy how fast it goes. The weather is changing to fall and lots of rain is to be expected. Here's a pic from a rainy day in their cute rain boots. This was probably the first pic I've taken where they both posed for me!

Roloff Farm

A few weekends ago we headed to Roloff Farm with our friends. It was a little insane. There was filming going on for the show, so that could have been why there was such a large turnout. It was cool to see it all and meet one of the members of the family-Zach.

Fall time...

These pics were taken the first week we moved here. The weather at that time was perfect outside. At the end of our street is a pathway that takes you down to the river. The girls love exploring down there. We have also spent afternoons swimming in the river--although it's pretty cold. There is even a private beach that we can play in the sand all by ourselves. I love the first two pics of the girls because they were so excited to be in this new place. They loved watching the boats that day.

More pics to come...

I will be posting some new pics of our fall adventures. We recently moved to a brand new town. Josh was fortunate enough to get a job working as a project supervisor for a remodeling company. He loves his job and he feels fortunate to be working alongside a great group of guys. We've enjoyed exploring Portland and getting to know our surroundings. There really is SO much to do here that it's overwhelming at times. All in all we feel blessed to be where we are at and we look forward to new friends and new experiences.

There's no place like home...

After camping we headed on a plane to Indiana to see my family. It was also a great time. We went to an amusement park for a day---Lilli and Abbi got to go on their first rollercoaster ride! We got to spend lots of time with cousin Kaelyn. We jumped on Trev's trampoline. We went to the zoo. Mommy and Abbi even spent the night at the hospital!! So much excitement packed into two weeks...

Summer continued...

We went on some fun adventures this past summer. Here are some pics from our camping trip with Josh's family. We had so much fun going out on the boat, sailing, fishing, and eating lots of yummy food...We even got to take Grandpa and Grandma go tubing. Grandma was screaming SO loud, while Grandpa kept saying "Faster!"

Summer time...

Ahh...isn't summer great!

Olympic Trials Eugene 08

Our town is hosting the Track and Field Olympic Trials this year. There is a lot of craziness going on down by the University of Oregon, so we thought we'd check it out. Our town's track club hosted an "All Comers Meet" for young children. Each child would run with their age group a short distance and get a ribbon to celebrate. The girls also got t-shirt's from the Nike tent for participating. All in all it was really neat to experience the exciting atmosphere of the trials. Lilli and Abbi had a good time too!

Olympic Trials Eugene 08

Here's a clip from Lilli's race...Abbi had already run and came in third:) She cried the whole way...a little too much for her, but it was still fun. Lilli begged to go again, so she ran it twice. It was so neat running on their track...historical!!

Here is Lilli's warm up run...

Color Wheel...

We used food coloring to color salt....red, yellow, blue. We drew (w. chalk) a large circle with six sections. Every other spot you put the colors you made....as you combine two together you will fill in the remaining 3 places with orange, green, and purple! The girls loved mixing the colors...even the neighbor cat had fun.
