A day for a hike...

Today we attempted to hike Mary's Peak about one hour from Eugene. The top is a little over 4,000 ft. We were able to drive up most of it until the last 2 miles, which we hiked with the girls. There was quite a bit of snow and the clouds rolled in which made the view not really a view at all. I look forward to this hike in the summer time--although there seems to be a lot of bears out and about. Lilli was exhausted by the time we got back to the car...she kept saying she had a "cramp" the whole hike:) She is drama! Abbi feel asleep in the backpack on the way back...adventures like these are always interesting with toddlers!!

Grandpie and Grammie come to visit...

Here are some pics from my parents trip out here. We got to do lots of fun stuff...the weather was HOT! 90 degrees for quite a few days. We went to the swimming pool, the beach, Bend, and hiked Spencer's Butte to name a few things...the bottom pic is overlooking our city of Eugene. The hill right above Lilli's head is where we hiked with Dad. We love our parents and appreciate them coming out!!

The girls got these cute "shirt dresses" from Grandma Nancy from their trip to Mexico. They loved wearing them and I just thought they looked so cute. Lilli loves picking all our flowers! She says they're for her "wedding day"...We're in trouble!
