We used food coloring to color salt....red, yellow, blue. We drew (w. chalk) a large circle with six sections. Every other spot you put the colors you made....as you combine two together you will fill in the remaining 3 places with orange, green, and purple! The girls loved mixing the colors...even the neighbor cat had fun.

My girl is getting so big! VBS 2008
Here is a small clip of Lilli with her class at VBS. She has been going from 9-1pm all week and has enjoyed her time. It's so crazy seeing all the things she's learned. The day before she started we went to Target and got her a special "Hello Kitty" lunch box. That evening I went to the store to get her juice boxes and I stood there in the aisle for 15 min contemplating which ones would be the easiest for her to open so she didn't have to worry about it...After a while I just thought to myself, "Hannah, get a grip she's just going to VBS for goodness sakes." I now know how my parents have felt with my brothers and I. I never want my kids to struggle, even if it's just having to figure out how to open a juice box! I guess just thinking about my girls being on their own makes feel so protective...sniff sniff...
Honey
Here are some pics of our newest addition..."Honey"--aka. "Lisa" or "Snuggle bunny Ray"--Lilli has a new name everyday! We got her about a week ago. I told Josh my childhood dream of having a bunny has finally come true. All we had as kids were hamsters! (Thanks mom and dad...) The girls love having a little pet. She is very sweet. Notice the cage built from scratch by Josh:)
