This week Evalin, Daddy, and I have been having fun hanging out together. (the girls are visiting grandma and grandpa...) She is such a mellow baby--which has made transitioning that much easier...

Baby Evalin is here!!!

Evalin Ruth was born Friday, Oct 9th at 1:30 pm. She weighed 8 pounds, 3.5 ounces, and was 20.5 inches. She had a little bit of a rough beginning and spent 4 days in the NICU for having "pneumothorax" (small tear in her left lung causing an air pocket to form in her chest). Thankfully she recovered well and we took her home Weds afternoon. She is such a sweet baby. The girls are CLEARLY enamoured with her. While it can be stressful at times managing all three, it's also a joy seeing them so excited that she's arrived. I will post more pics soon...

Two weeks to go...

We have two weeks to go until we get to meet our newest addition. We're excited for her birth and look forward to sharing pics with all of you! These last few weeks have been a new level of discomfort, but I just try to remind myself how special it is to experience the little miracle growing inside me. :)

Last night we were at a fam friend's wedding. I happened to be in the picture taking mood...it was a beautiful wedding on a perfect evening. Lilli and Abbi LOVE seeing the bride all dressed up. They had so much fun dancing the night away!

Lilli and Abbi went to a "princess party" a few weeks ago...here are some cute pics of their fun afternoon.

Pre-school begins...

Lilli is one of those kids whose birthday falls right after the cut off. So, this year she started preschool three days a week. While she is the "oldest" in her class, she loves her roll as the leader of her peers. Here are some pics from her first day. She was more than ready...she told me in the car, "It's ok mom, you don't need to take me in, I can walk myself (sniff sniff from me)" After school I asked her on the car ride home what she learned in school and her reply was, "Mom, worry about something else!" My goodness, I didn't know I had a teenager already.

Lilli turned five years old! I just can't believe how fast she has grown. She wanted to get her nails done, so I took the girls to a salon for manicures. They loved every second of it. For dinner we had pizza and cake with some friends. My camera ran out of batteries, so I wasn't able to take many pics:( Lilli got lots of fun presents...
